I have started making myself available to do parties/showers within my business. I have done a few so far and they have been so much fun! This is something that I would totally want when I throw parties! I throw parties all the time and I love it! But it is so hard running around, mingling, making sure all the food is prepared...when do you have time to take pictures!?? What I do as my business, is come to your party or event and pretty much capture all the important parts! I follow the "man, woman, or child of the hour" around (un-noticed I might add!) and photograph this visiting and laughing with family and friends. I take many candids but also some posed shots.
This party that I did last weekend was actually for my grandfather. He just turned 80 and my aunts and mom are throwing him a big party with all of his long-time friends and family. He was so excited! Needless to say, I had a great time b/c I knew and loved almost everyone there! My Pappaw means the world to me and he loves to have pictures from everything, so it meant a lot to me to be able to be the one to do this for him! Now I just have to send them all off to my development company for him! Here are a few from this party:
