The Last of my 2008 Sessions....

Okay, I think I am finishing up with work from 2008! I wanted to try and get 1 picture posted of all of my sessions. Below you will find: The sweet siblings Nathan & Savannah; dancin' with the Hundley Family; the love of Morgan & John; one of my Christmas gals, Madison; precious brand new baby William; the Laurie family at The Grotto; the cute, cute boys of the Hoover Family; The Rutledge children in their brown & blue; adorable little Valeri; handsome Michael, my first session of Senior Pictures; the "I do's" of Alisa & Brad; and the closeness of the Wiseman Family.

I feel so blessed that my business has taken off like it has! And I am honored to have been apart of all of my client's special moments: the excitement of waiting on the baby to arrive, the delicate photos taken of a newborn, the fun of running around playing with the two and three year olds, children as they get a little older and know how important these pictures are to mommy & daddy, the new love young couples have in engagements, and the special day where you say "I do"!

I look forward to many more and seeing you ALL in 2009!

Thank you, Kristin

The Grasser-Jones Wedding

This wedding was so much fun! The couple was adorable and it was obvious that they were so much in love! They chose a beautiful old house for the location and it made for some really unique pictures....and the wedding was outside, which is my favorite! Enjoy photos from Lindy and William's day!!

More 2008 Favorites...

Hello again! Well I just got home from my parents house. They had the family over for "chicken, cheese & rice"...my all time favorite dinner that my Mammaw Jackie used to make for me when I was little. My dad makes it now, and it is delicious! Little Becca was there and we had a wonderful time as usual when she is around. She wanted to say the blessing twice and it is obvious she lights up our entire world! As you know, my sister and Brad and getting married in May and tonight they asked my husband, Robby to be an usher in their wedding! We finished up the night watching old home movies of Katie and I as children. Katie was about 4 which would have made me 9. It was fun showing Becca her momma and Aunt Cici as little girls! Now that I am at home and in bed, I thought that I would post a few more of my 2008 Favorites:

First are the most precious James boys; sweet little Zoey, this was one of my first sessions; Sam and Daniel are a sweet couple getting married next year; My little model Sam at Christmas time; Becca & Katie's Halloween Pictures; My favorite of Katie & Brad's Engagements; The cutest siblings Jillian & Everett; The Moore family with those adorable twin boys; my first maternity session with Stacey; sweet little Tanna on the bridge; Peanut in the fall; and the precious sisters of the Harvard Family.

A Relaxing Weekend...

This was a very relaxing weekend...I loved it! I am such a busy person...always running! I never get quiet weekends like this, and I enjoyed every minute of it! I did nothing that had to do with photography this weekend , but I thought I would let you into a little of my personal life with this blog!

This is a very important time for me right now. My sister Katie is getting married in May and she is in the planning stages of the process right now. We went shopping this weekend for bridesmaid dresses and Becca a "wedding dress". See, she is getting married in May too! Becca is my 2 year old niece and it is very important to my sister that Becca be apart of every moment of this special day. After all, my soon-to-be brother-in-law Brad will not only be marrying my sister, but also my beautiful niece! Katie decided on a lot today and I will not be spoiling anything here. But, I will post a couple pictures of the weekend that only include dresses that were discarded...below you will find Becca in a couple of the "wedding dresses" and veils she tried on!

The following pictures are of little Dalton, the sweetest thing; Katie & Brad, Engagments in the fall; my great friends the Welch Family; my precious nephew JC; Gabe who had such a fun time playing with the bubbles, he was so cute; Brady who was the cutest little thing in his hat, he did Christmas pictures with me; little Gracie's one year pictures; adorable little red-headed Charlotte; my friends the Fuller Family on their beach trip; Becca's Christmas pictures; more of Katie & Brad; the cute couple Carrie & Phillip; and lastly the little model, precious Webb.

I'm just getting started...

Hi, my name is Kristin Irby and I have been photographing for sweet families in the Memphis area for a little over a year. I don't have a studio, and even though I photograph at the homes of my clients; the majority of my sessions take place outside in parks around town. This is my first real "winter" since starting this business, so I am a little lost with all of the down-time I have! I work a full time job and I am used to working all week and then spending my weekends photographing, and every evening editing! Now that it is winter and I am not slammed with appts, I thought that I would finally start a blog! I am going to try to write about once every week or two, and tell you about my appts and what is going on with my business! I will also post a picture or two of the sessions after I have them as a little "sneak peak"! But for now....I will post a couple pictures from previous sessions that are some of my absolute favorites just to get everything started! I will do this from time to time so that you can see some pictures from my previous sessions that took place before I started this blog! Please come back and visit!!!
